It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Cortney Gibson of Gibson Newborn Services. I found her to be warm, understanding of new parents, and exceptionally knowledgeable. Cortney is an independent, self directed professional who is able to communicate effectively and works tirelessly as a child-advocate.

Since Cortney lived in our home for several months, I feel compelled to also mention her ability to blend seamlessly into our daily lives. She was always available and present when I needed her, but was also able to disappear when she sensed I needed space. I often joked that she could read my mind! She is a true professional in every sense of the word and I do not know what I would have done without her. She arrived and immediately began her tasks. I was recovering from a c-section and I cannot emphasize enough what a huge relief it was not to have to explain anything. Her presence was a huge relief to my husband and me and the first time she showed us the techniques she uses, we were believers. My son had been screaming for some time and Cortney had him calm and content within 15 seconds. It was like witnessing a miracle!

If a family wants to learn skills and techniques to last beyond the stay of their Newborn Care Specialist, then Cortney Gibson is the right person to hire. Anyone can come into your home and rock a baby to sleep, but if you do not want to have to do that forever (or even worse, drive around in the car at 2AM) then you will not regret hiring Cortney. She is an exceptionally knowledgeable Newborn Care Specialist and an outstanding individual.”
