You have your first child and bought the perfect stroller. It fits your needs and is organized perfectly. Not to mention, you have become proficient on packing and unpacking your stroller. Everything is just peachy until your next child comes along.
Do you buy a new stroller?
Does it need to be a double stroller?
Where are you going to put everything you need?
What do I do with my last stroller?
These are all questions that many parents have to face when their families grow from one child to two.
Buggypod Smorph 2
There is a solution available that allows you to keep your original stroller and convert it into a double stroller. It is called the Buggypod Smorph 2. Converting a stroller with the Buggypod Smorph 2 is easy. Basically, it is a clip-on side car for a stroller that is portable and lightweight. Now, you can keep your stroller for your newborn and have a child seat attached for your toddler. It does cost about $160, so it isn’t necessarily a cheap option. It can save you some money considering a double stroller can cost up to $500 or more.
I have not used or been able to test one. Therefore, I am interested in getting feedback from those of you who have used a Buggypod Smorph 2. Some of my thoughts about this product:
- It would be nice to keep your original stroller. It provides comfort for you and your toddler.
- Everyone knows that most strollers, even though they have been designed for easy folding and unfolding, they can be tricky. It seems as though adding a big attachment would not make it any easier.
- It is one more thing to pack and it will take up space. Therefore, you have to consider your trunk size.
- Your toddler would have a seat to sit on when they are tired of walking. We all know they want to walk, but they can’t keep up with us all day long.
There are probably other pros and cons that I haven’t considered since I haven’t been able to test this product out myself. Let me know if you have tried the Buggypod Smorph 2. I would really be interested in your feedback.
