Spring is the time of year that a lot of us to start our spring cleaning rituals. Just don’t forget to add your stroller to your spring cleaning list.
Here are a few tips to cleaning your stroller:
√ The very first thing you should do is read the instruction manual that came with your stroller. It will provide specific instructions that include caring for your stroller. Plus, it will also identify what parts are removable for easier cleaning
√ Next vacuum all fabric services. Pay attention to creases and folds where crumbs will fall. This will help keep crumbs from falling on the floor as you clean your stroller.
√ Remove any fabric that is removable. Remember to refer to your owners manual to determine what can be removed.
√ Can’t remove any fabric? Again, refer to your owner’s manual. Strollers are made to be used outdoors. So, a good scrubbing with soap and water should do the job. I would recommend that you do this on a sunny day to assure it dries quickly.
√ Make sure you wipe down the frame with a safe, non-toxic cleaner. Pay attention to sticky spots.
√ Clean your wheels. You can easily clean the wheels and rims with a couple of baby wipes. It is also a good idea to lubricate the swivels. Just try and use a non[toxic lubricant.
Now that it is clean, your stroller is ready for your next outing. Just remember to store your stroller in a good spot when not in use.
